Gracious God, we find that our sins are too heavy to carry, too real to hide, and too deep to undo. We know only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ can we be set free from a past we cannot change; open to us a future in which we can be changed; and grant us grace to grow more and more in your likeness and image, through Jesus Christ, the light of the world. Amen.

OUR TIME OF PRAYER & THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Lord, for this joy, we give you thanks.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
