CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader:  God calls us together
All: So we meet this day, as friends, as neighbors, as sisters and brothers in Christ.
Leader: Called together by God, we bring our offerings to God
All: Our songs, our hearts, our prayers, our lives.  Let us worship God.

*HYMN  41  “O Come, All Ye Faithful”

*PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Dear Heavenly Father, we bow before you and we confess that we have too often forgotten that we are yours.  Sometimes we carry on our lives as if there was no God and we fall short of being a credible witness to You.  For these things we ask your forgiveness and we also ask for your strength.  Give us clear minds and open hearts so we may witness to You in our world.  Remind us to be who You would have us to be regardless of what we are doing or who we are with.  Hold us to You and build our relationship with You and with those You have given us on earth.  Through Jesus Christ, Amen.

OUR TIME OF PRAYER & THE LORD’S PRAYER
Lord, for this joy, we give you thanks.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

CHURCH DIRECTORY: To assist our incoming Interim Pastor, Rozanne will be adding pictures to the current church directory.  If you have already sent in a picture for the Christmas tree or if we have your picture on file elsewhere, we will use that.  If you have a specific picture you would like included, we can include that instead.  If you prefer not to have a picture attached to your entry in the directory, please let the church office know.

FROM THE TREASURER: Offering varies each month of the year, which makes it difficult to project our year- end financial status.  If our prediction was accurate and giving was evenly distributed throughout the year, income through the end of October, 2019 would be about $137,500.  We are about $16,000 short of that amount.  In the monthly financial report, we find income greater than expenses at this time but that is primarily due to a much reduced staff expense (no pastor expenses) for the last six months.  Hopefully we will find the offering increase significantly in December as we prepare a new budget with full staff.

BIRTHDAYS in December:  Dean Hofland, LaVonne Broksieck, Carrie Van Buren, Rozanne McGrath, Marge Poppen, Sally Maca, Jan Broksieck
