*CALL TO WORSHIP
Pastor: O God, open our lips.
All: And our mouth will declare your praise.
Pastor: For you have no delight in sacrifice, a burnt offering would not please you.
All: The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; the truly contrite heart, God will not despise.
*HYMN #85 “What Wondrous Love is This”
*PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Merciful God, you pardon all who truly repent, and turn to you. We humbly confess our sins and ask your mercy. We have not walked humbly with you, our God. Have mercy on us in your loving kindness. In your great compassion, cleanse us from our sins and our shortcomings. Create a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. In Christ’s name, Amen.

OUR TIME OF PRAYER & THE LORD’S PRAYER
Lord, for this joy, we give you thanks.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen
