THE SENIOR PRESBYTERIAN AWARD will be presented during worship service on June 9th. Please join us as we celebrate and thank two members for their devotion to our church and its mission for a combined 122 years.
A CHURCH RUMMAGE SALE is being organized by the Outreach and Fellowship Committee on June 8 from 8 a.m. to noon. The proceeds will benefit the Brookings Domestic Abuse Shelter and Brookings Humane Society. Donations for the sale may be brought to the church by June 6. Volunteers to help with the rummage sale are very welcome. We will set up Friday night and early Saturday morning. If any questions, please contact Susan Smith or Susan Young.
PRAYER QUILT SEWING DAY will be held on Saturday, June 8 from 9:30-11:30 AM, in the quilt room on the main floor of the church. Anyone interested in sewing or preparing quilts for tying is invited to come and help. Please contact Dolores Canaday, Nancy Thompson, Bonnie Foster or Lee Peterson if any questions.
THE CHOIR IS SINGING on Sunday, June 9 at the Neighborhoods at 1:45 p.m. and at the United Living Community at 2:30 p.m. All are welcomed to come sing with the choir—we’ll be meeting at the facilities.
THE BUFFALO RIDGE CHORALE SPRING CONCERT “Young at Heart” will be presented at Church of St. John Cantius at Wilno, MN (about 10 miles east of Hendricks, MN) today, June 2 at 4:00 p.m. Admission is $8.00, 14 and under are free. Lunch is served after the concert with free will offering supporting a mission trip. Anna DeGraff is the director and Rozanne McGrath sings with this choir.
