Dear Father, we confess that we fall short of what we should do or be. Forgive us. Help us to grow in your spirit and to understand more of you and our neighbors. Give us a more compassionate, kind heart and a gentle tongue. Remind us that it is your presence and love that is totally sufficient for us in all things. Draw us into your fold and abundant life. Amen.

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
