All: we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Leader: Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.
All: Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

All: and His truth endures to all generations.
*HYMN #485 “To God be the Glory”
*THE CONFESSION OF SINS
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
